On many gardens today, growers still use the traditional method of inserting copper sticks through tomato stems to prevent the spread of blight. This practice originates from age-old techniques passed down through generations.
Since plants require trace amounts of copper for proper growth, development, and resilience, we developed OJ Bron—a copper loop designed to be inserted into the soil near the plant—following the launch of our first copper tools.
The loop works locally in the root zone, where it releases copper ions that help suppress fungal diseases and support plant vitality. Over time, a natural patina forms on the surface of the loop, so remember to remove it from the soil at the end of the season and reuse it the following year.
Each loop is individually handcrafted and forged with special care and attention to detail.
